About the role

As a franchisee, you run your own unit within the chain. You are a genuine business owner, responsible for sales, staff, profitability and the customer experience, but you do not do it alone.

The chain provides the concept, the product range, purchasing and marketing, and supports you in day-to-day operations. That lets you focus your energy on what determines whether the unit succeeds: good leadership, satisfied customers and a store that works every day.

You are a good fit as a franchisee if you have experience of leading people and delivering results, and you want to take the step to building something of your own. You also need your own capital to invest in the business. How much depends on the location and unit, and we go through it in our very first conversation.

Responsibilities

  • Run and develop your own unit within the chain’s concept
  • Take responsibility for sales, profitability and finances
  • Recruit, lead and develop your staff
  • Make sure customers are met by a first-class store and service
  • Work together with the chain and other franchisees

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience from retail, grocery retail or FMCG
  • Experience of leading staff and taking responsibility for results
  • Strong drive and a desire to build something of your own
  • Your own capital to invest in the business in line with the chain’s requirements
  • Good business sense and a feel for the customer experience

Our client is an established chain in grocery and FMCG that continues to grow in Sweden. The chain has a proven concept and is now looking for more entrepreneurs to run units in new and existing locations.

You will hear more about the chain, the capital requirement and which locations are available in a first conversation. The chain will provide all the information you are entitled to under the Swedish Franchise Act before you make any decision.
